MERRYMEETING BAY

Merrymeeting Bay is special to me

Because I know the animals live there.

I know that six rivers come into the bay.

I saw a lot of horseshoe tracks.

MERRY MEETING BAY

I went to Merrymeeting Bay. I found a feather and some rocks. The feather was black. One of the rocks was dirty and one of the rocks was clean. On the side of the bay was the mucky marsh. The bay is blue. The bay is very big. The bay is special because we like it all!

MERRYMEETING BAY

I went to Merrymeeting Bay. I saw a redwinged blackbird. He was black and red. His wing was red and his head was black. I saw the marsh. I wonder what the animals like about it. The bob-o-link flew fast. I liked the bay.

MERRYMEETING BAY

I like Merrymeeting Bay because it does not have much trash. I picked-up some pine needles. I counted five needles. Five letters spells w-h-i-t-e. I stopped and wrote in my journal.

Wildes Point Field Trip

At Wildes Point, I saw a bullfrog, a lot of wild columbine flowers, horseshoe tracks, and a black and white bird called a bob-o-link. The wild columbine flowers were red with Six sections with lots of yellow little stem things. Not very many people saw the bullfrog. He was green with black specks and big copper colored eyes.
